I got this adorable platter from our Great Grandma. I loved it the second I saw it! So, we got it home and turned it into our 'Candy Platter'. It is so fun to keep it stocked up with the holiday candy's or whatever candy our family likes. I've had to put a limit of consumption on it for the kids though :\ The lemon drops were a huge hit, surprisingly!

C is for Charlotte and a cupcake bar...
This weekend we celebrated my cute little niece-Charlotte's 1st Birthday! She is SO adorable! For her birthday, they had a cupcake bar and all were very nummy! Charlotte has the craftiest, and best cook ever for a mom too! My brother got very lucky! Plus, she's the only one that reads this blog, so that even makes her a better person lol!! :) Love ya Linds :). So, I took a pic of the card I made for little C.
Please Comment...ummm Linds?
So, Lindsay, since you are my only reader and follower of this blog... wait, do you follow this blog? Anyway, since you are the only one that sees this... I don't like the word "Crafting", what is a fancier word to be used? It sounds a bit Old World-ish. Thanks for reading my blog, and I know you've seen or thought of these ideas like years ago, but thanks.
Flourishing Flowers, and a Birdie Cage...
Me and My Madi had tons of fun crafting this weekend. She is a great inspiration for ideas! Here is some of the fun things we crafted...but first things first! ICE CREAM!!
I saw a segment on Studio 5 on how to make these cute little bird cages. I need to make a couple more coordinating ones, they look darling in a group of 3. Super easy!!
Madi created this! I loved it so much, I had her make me 2 more to go on my plate rack. Kudos to BH&G Magazine.
Yay for paper shredders and cupcake holders! I went with spring colors for this little set of baking cup flowers. I took white holders and stamped the white holders with the stamp pad itself. So, on this one I used green and purple, and left one just white. Then I shredded it and folded it into the shape of a flower, and used floral tape with a skewer to hold the flower together.
This is the start of a couple new projects. I just love it when I can craft on a dime!
oohhhhh... had to try out the metallics! Looove it.
I love the accordion folding flowers...maybe because I played the Accordion when I was younger... hmmm. But I really love using old dictionaries or cook books to cut up and use for crafting.

My Steal!
So... I decided to get back into Scrapbooking after 10 years. I won't be making the pages as much as cards, and paper craft items. I had to stop scrapbooking due to some neck problems (Dystonia/Torticollois), but I have learned to slow down, and not try to make a marathon out of Scrapbooking. I am SO excited to get back into this, but some of my products were outdated, so I needed to find a creative way to get back into it, without breaking the bank! So, I started online, with the daily deals, and started shopping some scrapbook stores. Deals are always out there, ready to be discovered!
I am ALWAYS looking for a great deal, I have a really hard time paying full retail price for anything! Anymore, there is always a printable in store coupon, or a promotion code if you are shopping online.
Well, on this deal, or steal.... It was at Heartfelt Creations. I had to dig a little, but I found some awesome steals. Anything marked with a tiny little red dot was 80% off! I had to ask what the little red dot meant... it was not advertised. So for the items listed below, I paid a TOTAL OF: $63.36 with a SAVINGS OF: $275.62...I call that a STEAL!!! Here's what I purchased...
